CARBS



The most important fuel for our bodies are just carbs. Sugar and starch during digestion divided into simple sugars. Then absorbed by the blood stream, it is glucose (blood sugar). Glucose then enters our cells due to insulin. One part of our body uses glucose for energy for all activities (from breathing to all daily activities). Residue which orgamizam can not use is transformed into fat.

Carbohydrates are macronutrients, are found in almost every food and drink. In processed foods to add large amounts of carbs (in the form of starch and sugar) and because they are bad for health. Avoiding snacks, candy, ready meals and other processed foods is the first step towards healthy eating. Good carbohydrates are complex carbohydrates and need to eat for weight loss and general health. Good carbs have a low glycemic index and contain a lot of plant dietary fiber. They are slow to digest and give a longer feeling of satiety. Boost metabolism and regulate blood sugar levels

Natural sources of carbohydrates: vegetables, fruit, cereals, milk, seeds, pulses and milk.

Healthy carbs that you can eat freely: whole grains, fruits, beans, vegetables, whole pasta, baked potatoes and oat flakes.

Bad carbs: White bread, candy, soft drinks, snacks, white flour, white rice.



If you want to be healthy and slim don’t eject any food group, but choose carefully what you eat.
