ATKINS DIET




Atkins diet is known as diet without carbs or protein diet. It is based on carb free foods. This means that the preferred foods are foods with protein.

The diet consists of three phases:

PHASE I

The aim of the first phase is metabolism changes. Carbohydrate intake is limited to 20 grams per day. So, for example, for breakfast you can eat an omelet of two eggs with ham or bacon, for lunch grilled steak and steamed fish for dinner. The first phase lasts for 14 days.

PHASE II

Involves the loss of body mass by consumption of fat reserves. Daily carbohydrate intake is limited to 15 to 40 grams. So, this phase is based on meat and vegetables (low carb).

PHASE III

Carbohydrates are gradually introduced, but are limited to a maximum of 60 grams per day.

PHASE IV

 Maintain existing reduced weight.

When you eliminate carbohydrates in daily meals, the liver converts fat into glucose, and additional products of that synthesis are toxic ketones. Ketones suppress appetite, thereby you eat less and weight loss emerge. GOOD DIETS



It is considered that there is no perfect diet. It is difficult to be full, happy, and to healthy lose weight in the same time. But we can find a lot of diet tips about how to lose weight in healthy and easy way.

There are so-called good diets that are attractive and not so heavy.
For example:

The eight-hour diet

This diet means to eat for the period of 8 hours per day. In the 8 hours period we can eat whatever we want. Of course we should not exaggerate and overeat. After an eight-hour period, there is a cycle of 16 hours when nothing should be eaten. And so every day. During the 16 hours the human body should be focused on recovery and rest, and not constant digestion. Time interval can be adjusted depending on your daily schedule and may even be different in different days of the week. The diet should start with at least 3 days a week, eight-hour schedule of food intake, and over time, depending on your personal feeling, diet should be extended to 7 days.

Kefir diet

An interesting diet that involves consuming kefir, very healthy milk product.
There are many variations of kefir diet. All are based on daily intake of kefir, differ in the number of additional foods, duration and, of course, the amount of weight you will lose.
For exemple:

·         Kefir-fruit diet (great short detox diet)

A day to drink 1.5-2 liters of skimmed milk kefir and eat fruits and vegetables in sufficient quantities to satisfy hunger. With this diet, you can lose 2-3 kg in three days.

·         Kefir-apple diet (heavy diet to prepare the body for the new season)

This is a pretty strict diet and is not recommended in winter, but it is recommended at the turn of one season to the next (spring-summer and summer-autumn). Weight loss is significant: up to 6 kg for 7 days.

·         Kefir mono-diet

Kefir mono diet is very difficult, but at the same time very effective diet. This diet with kefir last for three days, during which you can quickly lose 3-4 kg.

During this diet you should daily drink 1-1.5 liters of fresh low fat kefir, no added sugar, and 5-6 times a day. The intervals between use kefir should be the same.

Diet for the lazy - Salad Diet

Salad diet is probably one of the easiest diets to learn and adopt. It is based on two main ideas, one is that if you want to lose weight you need to replace higher-calorie meals with low-calorie meals and the other is the inclusion of salad in your meals, you can easily reduce your caloric intake on a daily basis. This is not a quick diet. Following the salad diet, you will probably lose somewhere between 1.5 and 3 kg per month. How much you will lose greatly depends on your daily calorie intake, which is based in part on age, sex, height, weight, and of course daily activities. You can start with eating at least three salads a week. Salads replace regular meals that you normally eat. You should increase the number of salads a week, until you reach that you eat at least one salad a day as a meal. An additional benefit of the salad diet is that you can lower your cholesterol and blood pressure. Ideal salads for this diet are those of vegetables and fruits but at the beginning you are free to use cheese, an occasional egg, tuna - to be more easily adjusted to a meal replacement. After that an ideal salad is large salad with mixed vegetables - all colors.

One of very attractive diets is the “Ice cream diet”. This diet is great for those who love ice cream, but it does not mean that we can eat ice cream unlimited. Diet means that we can eat some ice cream, a small bowl of day. Ice cream should be low-fat ice cream that has 125 calories or less per serving or in a bowl.
Here is an example of ice cream diet menus:

     Breakfast:
One cup of cereal-covered with a teaspoon of sugar, one cup of blueberries and one cup of low fat milk.

 Sandwich with two slices of whole grain bread, a piece of lettuce and 75 g of tuna. If desired, add the slices of tomato.

Among the most popular diets is the " Fast 3 days " diet. This diet is not the healthiest or most recommended because it requires great sacrifice. That is why it should last only three days. Also, allows quickly losing weight, 2 to 3 pounds in a short time.

     slice of fresh cheese
     1 slice of toast
     1 apple

     lunch:
     1 hard-boiled egg
     1 slice of toast

     dinner:
     1 cup of tuna
     1 cup of carrots
     1 cup of cauliflower
     1 cup of fresh fruit
     1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
     Coffee or tea (slightly sweetened) or water


In Fast 3 day diet some foods can be replaced with another:

     - Orange instead of Grapefruit
     - Yogurt instead of ice cream
     - Green beans instead of Broccoli
     - Cauliflower instead of broccoli

FOOD PYRAMID

The key to proper nutrition is to combine a variety of foods. It is important to include all of the nutrients: Cereals, rice, bread, fruitsvegetables, milk, meat, fish, eggs, fats, oils and sweets.
Proper nutrition can be presented with pyramid:

Higher floors have less surface area of the pyramid, so the food that is displayed in them should be taken in small quantities, and the lower floors vice versa.
The food in pyramid is grouped into six groups and assigned to four levels. According to the importance and the need to consume, food is distributed in the following way:
   1. Cereals, rice, bread, pasta
   2. Fruit
   3. Vegetables
   4. Milk
   5. Meat, fish and eggs
   6. Fats, oils and sweets

Cereals, rice and brad take the first place, and they are the most desirable foods. Fats and sweets are on the  sixth, last  place.
This food guide pyramid can be very useful, and we can have a balanced diet following the food pyramid  rules.


GRAPEFRUIT DIET

There are many good diets, but it is important to find the right one for us. There are many diet tips and advices about how to lose weight, but the most important is to adjust diet to ourselves, our needs and lifestyle.

One of the interesting diets, that is not too heavy, is a grapefruit diet. This diet involves drinking grapefruit juice or eating half a grapefruit with each meal. This diet is healthy and is not difficult, but requires a continuous reduction of food that you eat. It is believed that the juice of this fruit contains enzymes that dissolve fat.

EASY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS

When we want to lose weight sometimes we make mistakes in choosing food that we eat. We believe that some foods are highly caloric, we are afraid that we will gain weight easy.

The most important thing is to eat a variety of foods, enter all the nutrients, even fats. So we will be able to lose weight, and we will not be hungry.
